Why We Exist
“We enable people to amazingly exceed their goals”
Foundations
Our Journey
From cutting-edge technical problem solving to shop-floor coaching, the path that shaped us
Technical talent, developing people
The approach at Lean & Strategy grew from a rigorous technical foundation, Soren’s Caltech PhD, complemented by years at McKinsey combined with a pursuit of skills to enable people to grow while tackling immense challenges.
Building skills and leadership
As head of Centre for Productivity at the Danish Technological Institute, Soren led a team that designed the country’s most extensive open Lean training and on-site initiatives. The team learned from respected coaches from Toyota and Lean Enterprise Institute, and operated on humble, yet ambitious self-improvement principles.
Global rollout, customers' interests at heart
Later, Soren gained further experience starting and leading coaching companies in Australia and Europe and then collaborating with leaders from Toyota UK. The work has since spanned 19 countries across manufacturing, automotive, energy, finance, food, transport and education. Wherever the site, the underlying principles are the same: understand and adapt to culture, use facts and think creatively, ensure people can maintain and evolve their processes, and constantly raise the bar for outcomes.
Lean & Strategy operates in Europe, America, Asia and Australia – we work on-site and can also combine with remote support.
The approach is to understand and respect where your organisation is at, align on the direction to take and make changes with great involvement – all while turning metrics into daily habits that teams sustain without outside help.
Global Reach
